Manica Youth Assembly (MAYA)
The Manica Youth Assembly (MAYA) is a registered NGO based in Zimbabwe that aims to empower the youth to participate in active and conscious ways on public affairs regarding environmental destruction and the effects of climate change. MAYA will prepare young people to defend, promote, protect and serve the environment through innovative and sustainable initiatives and solutions. By empowering and engaging the youth to become transformative agents that advocate for environmental policies, they hope to achieve environmental and climate justice through the involvement and participation of local communities.

ZERO
The organization was founded in 1987 and works on tackling sustainable development at both the macro and micro levels. They work with government, civil society organizations, private sector companies, and the community who share their mission in order to influence others to do the same. ZERO has a variety of programs in areas such as land, energy, and environment. By working on these issues, the organization is helping create economic opportunities for women and men while mitigating climate change.

Environmental Buddies Zimbabwe
Environmental Buddies, Zimbabwe, started in 2013 by three young Zimbabweans, is an environmental NGO which aims to promote sustainable forests, resource management and waste management in Zimbabwe. They aim to do so through educational programs and community projects that raise awareness on the importance of sustainable development. Additionally, they advocate for the planting of indigenous trees throughout the country and continue to promote this practice.
