ASDEPO

ASDEPO, or Action for Social Development and Environmental Protection Organization, is a non-profit, indigenous Ethiopian NGO established in 2013. They carry out humanitarian response projects in seven areas of concentration: Environmental Protection, Climate Change, Health, Education, WaSH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Humanitarian Response, and Gender Based Violence. ASDEPO partners with many other organizations such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the Union of Ethiopian Women Charitable Association, John Hopkins University, Initiative Africa, and the Swedish International Development Agency.

Institute for Sustainable Development

The Institute for Sustainable Development (ISD) is an organization in Ethiopia dedicated to creating sustainable livelihoods and a better future for all by utilizing a combination of traditional culture, indigenous knowledge, and modern technology. Their projects focus on issues such as biodiversity, climate change, natural resources, self-sustainability, nutrition, and traditional agricultural practices. They host and organize meetings, conduct research, promote dialogue, and publish their own sources of information to raise public awareness and knowledge of these issues. They also have educational campaigns specifically designed for children and young people in Ethiopia.
