Green-Up Gambia
Green-Up Gambia is an independent organization that engages Gambians in creating eco-consciousness in communities in order to mitigate climate change. As an organization, they focus on deforestation and land degradation, introducing sustainable farming practices to enhance livelihoods in an ecologically friendly way. This also includes advocating for government accountability with respect to protecting natural resources, sustainable waste management, and scaling up tree planting.

Gunjur Environmental Protection and Development Group
The Gunjur Environmental Protection and Development Group (GEPADG) is a non-profit NGO that works with domestic and international volunteers to achieve long-term, sustainable solutions to poverty in The Gambia through reversing the current destruction of forests, mangroves, and coastal ecosystems. GEPADG focuses on improving the livelihoods of rural people through community reforestation initiatives, eco-tourism development, micro-financing, agroforestry, and vegetable gardening for local women.
