Malaysian Climate Change Group (MCCG)

Malaysian Climate Change Organization came together when the Center for Environment Technology and Development Malaysia (CETDEM) with the Environmental Protection Society of Malaysia (EPSM) and the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) formed an alliance, It is the only non-governmental body in Malaysia that actively addresses climate change issues and consists of a network of people and resources that fervently works to mobilize as many sectors of Malaysian society as possible to address the problems of climate.

Malaysian Nature Society

Established in 1940, Malaysian Nature Society is the oldest membership-based NGO  with more than 10 branches across Malaysia and over 16,000 members across the world. The vision of MNS: For Malaysia’s natural heritage and rich biological diversity to be effectively protected, managed and conserved for the benefit and appreciation of all Malaysians. Main activities of MNS are habitat management, environmental education, publications and awareness events.

Global Environment Centre

Global Environment Centre (GEC) addresses key environmental issues and focuses on a sustainable future for the generations to come. Their programs range from forest and biodiversity, peatlands, river care and outreach/partnerships with individuals, communities, other organisations, in order to achieve environmental sustainability.

GEC has undertaken more than 150 projects successfully in more than 15 countries that cover environmental issues of global significance with strong focuses on river basin, wetlands, biodiversity and climate change. They are formally recognized by Malaysian Government and ASEAN for its pioneering work in mangrove, peat swamp forest, river and coastal management and community engagement.
