Environmental Management for Livelihood Improvement Bwaise Facility
EMLI projects in Buikwe, Luweero, Kampala city and the rest of the country continue to sustain lives of communities, raise awareness on a number of environmental related issues, build resilience to climate shocks and empower people to sustainably manage their environment and natural resources. At the global level, EMLI has lobbied and advocated for furthering the incremental financial support to address global environmental challenges as well as implement local and national initiatives that foster environmental sustainability and climate actions.

Support for Women in Agriculture and Environment
Support for Women in Agriculture and Environment (SWAGEN) is an indigenous organization founded and owned by grassroots women in Uganda. The organization came into existence in 1998 out of felt need. Their goal is to create “resilient grassroot communities with the ability to absorb shocks, adapt to unplanned sudden changes and bounce back from attack through sustainable use of, equal access to and control of natural resources.”

Uganda Coalition for Sustainable Development
Uganda Coalition for Sustainable Development objective is to initiate and support the processes of dialogue on sustainable development issues at national, regional and International levels. They establish and maintain an information center that will facilitate Civil Society Organizations and Non Governmental Organizations capacities to influence and enhance sustainable development.
